PebblePad

PebblePad Resources

PebblePad is a Personal Learning Environment (PLE) where everything you create or upload is completely private unless you share something or submit an assignment (even then - only the shared/submitted item is visible to the intended recipients).

PebblePad is often used to create electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) of coursework and reflective diaries (Blogs) for placements and your Learning Journey. But it has much, much more to offer...

You can access PebblePad here: https://portfolio.pebblepad.co.uk/cumbria/login.aspx?

Use your Student Number and University password to login.

Collaborate

Collaborate is a very powerful permission that can be given when you share with someone with a PebblePad account in your organisation. It enables two or more people to be 'co-owners' of an asset and work on it together.

sharing assets

Sharing (Internal User)

View the Sharing video (above) and select Collaborate as the Permission setting. Your co-collaborater (co-owner) will now be able to see your resource in their Asset Store - it will appear under With Me:
with me

Comment

Enabling Comment permissions, on an Asset, allows you to receive feedback from people that you share with. You can add comment permissions to any asset share, including with people who do not have a Pebble+ account, and when you publish to the web.

Contacts

Contacts are people or groups that you have chosen to share Assets or Templates with. Contacts can be people from within your organisation who also have PebblePad accounts or external people who do not have PebblePad accounts. All Contacts are added to your Contact Manager.
